2023 Official SS Class Race Schedule
Ahoy SS Class Association Members & Sailors!
We are excited to announce our official schedule for the upcoming 2023 SS Class Association race season. The quest for the "3-Handled Mug" is now on, as our fleet will compete in a series of competitive SS Class races this summer in our local bays, the cumulative winner of which will be crowned class champion. Check out last year's article from 27East for more on the history of our legendary championship trophy!
2023 Summer - Schedule of Events
1. Saturday July 8th - Smith's Point @ Shinnecock Yacht Club
Start Time: 12:30 PM
Skipper's Meeting: 11:30 AM
2. Saturday July 29th - Atwater Trophy @ Westhampton Yacht Squadron
Start Time: 11:15 AM
Skipper's Meeting: 10:45 AM
3. Saturday August 19th - Horton Trophy @ Shinnecock Yacht Club
Start Time: 11:00 AM
Skipper's Meeting: 10:00 AM
4. Saturday September 2nd - Dudley Trophy @ Westhampton Yacht Squadron
Start Time: 11:00 AM
Skipper's Meeting: 10:00 AM
* * *As a reminder, your active membership in the SSCA is required to participate in all races. Either one skipper, or one crew member, must have an active membership for each boat in any race.
