The weather was sunny and warm, and the wind was gentle. It was good to see eight boats in the race. Many thanks to John Sartorius and the gracious members of Shinnecock Yacht Club for hosting the race on Saturday. It really was great fun not only because of the great sailing conditions, but because the SYC race committee executed a very professional race experience. Therefore, we extend our thanks to the SYC race committee for doing a fantastic job of starting our three races in Shinnecock Bay.
