HORTON CUP RACE RESULTS

SHINNECOCK BAY

We had a fantastic day of racing for the Horton Cup, the first leg of the coveted 3-Handled Mug. The competition kicked off from the Shinnecock Yacht Club, where sailors took to the waters of Shinnecock Bay for three exciting races, each run on a 5-mark standard modified Olympic course. Conditions were ideal, with steady southeast winds ranging from 8 to 10 knots.

Congratulations to Scott Apmann and Canute Dalmasse, winners of the Horton Cup, sailing SS 153 Perseides! A huge thank you goes out to our outstanding fleet of sailors and to the dedicated race committee — Abby Connett, John Zambriski, Helen Horton, Anne Mays, and Marisa Nelson — whose efforts made the day a success.
